Editorial Policy

Stories are sourced from licensed news APIs that index established publishers, plus original pieces written in-house. Every sourced story keeps the publisher's name and a link to the original report.

We publish a short factual summary in our own words, not a copy of the publisher's article. Display headlines are rewritten to be punchy, but they must describe the same event the article describes — no promising something the story does not deliver.

Automated tooling helps draft summaries and display headlines. Everything published is reviewed against the source, and anything that cannot be matched to a real published report is not published.

Commentary lives in its own clearly marked block. Satire is never presented as reporting, never mimics a real quote, and never changes a fact in the summary.

Publisher name, publication date and a link to the original appear on every sourced story. We use short summaries and, where available, the publisher's own thumbnail. Rights holders can ask us to remove material at hello@oopsonline.in and we act on valid requests promptly.

Advertising is sold separately from editorial and never buys coverage or influences how a story is summarised. Ad areas are labelled and kept out of the reading flow, and sponsored items — if we ever run them — are marked as sponsored.

Fabricated news, doctored images, AI-generated “events” that did not happen, hate speech, harassment, or thin filler pages created only to attract search traffic.
