Corrections Policy

Email hello@oopsonline.in with the story link and what is wrong. Anything specific helps: a wrong name, a wrong number, a mis-credited publisher, an image that does not belong to the story.

We check the claim against the original published report. If the summary is wrong, we correct it. If the original publisher has since corrected or updated their article, we update our summary to match. If a story cannot be verified against a real published report, we take it down.

Corrected stories carry an updated “last updated” date on the page, and the change is reflected in the article's structured data so search engines see the revision. Significant factual corrections are noted in the story itself rather than edited away silently.

Rights holders, and people named in a story who believe it is inaccurate, can request removal at the same address. Valid requests are actioned promptly.

A joke that relies on a factual mistake gets removed along with the mistake. Commentary is opinion, but it must sit on top of accurate facts.
